My name is Anjeli Wenk and this is my art portfolio in the graphic design field.
I have always been fascinated by design and animation and was convinced from a young age that I wanted to pursue a creative career. Over the past months at the Vorkurs, I have gained valuable skills and experience, especially with various design and animation programs. I am reliable, precise and eager to expand my knowledge and creativity in new projects.
Digital Logos
The following digital works have been created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The Items on the bottom are from the application form created during the Vorkurs at the Schule für Gestatung Zurich. The ones on the top are from a Schnupperlehre where I had to design a logo.

Adobe Fresco
Capturing motion has always fascinated me. Using Adobe Fresco, I created these rough sketches as part of my learning journey in animation. Though still experimenting, this project explores the fluidity of dynamic movement.

The Dancing Ballerina
The dancing figure, trying to capture a moving figure has always interested me. For this project I watched and paused a video of a female dancing, each frame I sketched and after many sketches, I used Procreate to create an animation

Sketches of Kathak dancers
I like to combine my love for animation with my love for dance. These sketches are the beginnings of a project I have started. I am animating the dance choreography of kathak dancers.

Album cover
In the course of the work sessions at the Schule für Gestaltung, the task was to create a visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing album cover.
In addition, I created a mockup on Photoshop using the cover that was designed.

Oil paintings
The lush, vibrant colors and textures achievable with oils allow me to express my creativity in a way that feels both traditional and endlessly innovative. I started with oils in July 2023 and look forward to exploring this media
Ink Illustration
The contrast and softness of ink and wash helps me explore quiet, emotional stories in a personal and expressive way. In this series, I reflect on how something as simple as a braid can connect us—across distance, memory, and care. Working with Feder und Tusche has opened up a gentle, thoughtful space in my creative process, and I look forward to continuing this journey.

Sketchbook
Here is a short look into my sketchbook, where I explore a variety of ideas, techniques, and inspirations through sketches, doodles, and conceptual designs that capture my creative process.

Black and White
mixed media
Through the use of pen, acrylic paint and ink, I have created a 16 piece art work. The design flows from piece to piece bringing a calm Zen feel to the art work. Viewing this piece from different angles gives the viewer a fresh perspective.
Feel free to zoom in to see the details.

Digitial Art
Utilizing digital tools such as a stylus, digital painting software, and various digital inking techniques, I've created patterns inspired by traditional Indian clothing patterns.

Typography
Here I used various tools to produce a drop shadow with
light and dark contrast using only Adobe Photoshop

In this typography project, I created a series of event posters exploring the interaction between type and moiré. I was drawn to how the moiré effect could make the posters feel alive. One is in black and white, while the other two use color for contrast. In one, I arranged letters to form two dancing figures. A visual for a poetry event called Tanz der Wörter. Each piece explores how movement and rhythm can emerge through type alone.

Packaging

At school we had to design and print our own chocolate packaging's, and the following pictures show a mock-up of the box I made. The packaging was done by hand and in Photoshop.

Childrensbook Illustrations
For my high school final year project, I was inspired to write and illustrate a children's book about the cultural festivals celebrated in India. Here is a glimpse into the colourful pages of the book.
Various Mediums
Here I have used many different mediums, such as acrylic paint, colour pencil and alcohol ink. These are new mediums for me and I continue to explore the versatility.
